Comment:   Crawshay's Francolin = sub-specie S. l. kikuyuensis , with reduced spotting on the white band below the eye down to the side of the neck, reduced spotting on the upper breast and paler belly. Pending IOC specie split. Very similar to sub-specie S. l. crawshayi (see BirdPix 95678 from Malawi).
