Notes:   Overall drab brown bird with dark bill (not yellow-orange like Kurrichane Thrush). Rufous/buffy wash to flanks, with white spot on belly. Very shy, seen before in hedge row, and in tall vegetation on edge of lawn. First time seen in open.

Comment:   Drab cisticola with brown crown and brown wings point to either Short-winged Cisticola or Red-faced Cisticola. Long tail and rufous wash on the face eliminate Short-winged Cisticola.
