Nest - quoting from Handbook of the world: "...nests along edges of salt pans, on calcareous soil, mudflat or stony slope, within 50 m of water; shallow scrape, lined with small stones, grass, fish bones and small snail shells, or other beach debris, occasionally even flamingo feathers". |
