   [ Record 9 of 377 ]
MammalMAP:   5506
Province:   Limpopo
Country:   South Africa
Locus:   2231CD
Observer:   Da Cruz P.
Date of record:   2013-02-23
Number of photos:   3
Notes:   The bat was observed at about 2m above the ground on a tree trunk of one of the trees at the Picnic Site. My best guess is a Mauritian Tomb bat based on its appearance and being observed roosting on a tree trunk and scuttling around the trunk when we got too close, which is typical behaviour according to field guides
