Notes:   The bats were resting under palm leaves during the day. We have seen them there for many years. According to the field guide this is the only variety found in a small spot in the EC.

Comment:   Clearly an epauletted fruit bat. However, not likely to be Peter's so far south. Wahlberg's much more likely.
