Notes:		This is the baboon specie occurring within the Selous GR. Subsp. P. c. cynocephalus which is the most common subsp. of Yellow baboon, occurring in most of Tanzania southwards into Northern Mozambique. Mane absent, straight, soft, silky pelage, and newborn black pelage.
