Have been waiting to capture image of a suspected golden-breasted bunting we saw some weeks ago. This bird came down to eat seed in our garden with the finches and sparrows. The rose coloured beak and grey legs of this bird have totally thrown me as to an ID! quelea?wydah?waxbill?finch? |

Image 1 has a Pin-tailed Whydah to LHS, Southern Grey-headed Sparrow centre and Bronze Mannikin RHS. Images 2 and 3 are a Pin-tailed Whydah: for this time of the year, most likely an immature male. |
