Record details

:   4033
Province:
Country:   Botswana
Locus:   1922BD
Observer:   Kennedy David
Date of record:   2008-11-23
Number of photos:   1
Notes:   This ID is by no means certain. Photo was taken immediately prior to landing on Nxabega's airstrip. ID is based more on apparent size than anything more precise. They look smaller and shorter-necked than Great Egrets, yet larger and longer-necked than Cattle Egrets, of which there may be two or three in the picture. Their bills appear light-coloured, which would rule out the black-billed Little Egret.
