Notes:   Interesting foraging and feeding information showed that the Cape Vultures initially removed the gastro-intestinal and abdominal organs. They then focused on feeding on the muscular flesh, intercostal muscles and lungs. Leaving the intestinal aspects and tracheotis aside. Juvenile and sub-adult birds then seized the offal and began to fed on those items, whilst the core of adult birds concentrated on the main carcass.
