Lisl van Deventer had a query on BirdPix: 46910. Those two birds were about 1.2km away from these. These roost with a small flock 20m from our cottage. We have seen Frankies with chicks (3) from our veranda. If their calls are diagnostic, then they can be recorded any evening. Many more pix in this series are availabe.

Thank you for the additional information! Interesting case here: either incorrect distribution maps or range extension. Photo 1 - Hildebrandt's Spurfowl (blotched). Photos 2 and 3 looks like Natal Spurfowl (with black arrows). |
