Notes:   Owl was standing on a branch on a very very hot day in Cape Town. Owl suddenly flew down to the ground and spread it's wings. Stayed like that for a few minutes in the hot sun then flew back up to the branch. Discussed with Peter Steyn who feels that the Owl was either sunbathing or trying to cool down, but no record about this behaviour anywhere.
