During our stay in this area, there were thousands of tiny crustaceans being cast up from the sea. All the shorebirds were feeding on them: Kelp Gulls, Terns, Oystercatchers, Hartlaub's Gulls, Cape Wagtails, White-fronted Plovers etc. The third photo is a close-up of one of those tiny organisms. Maybe somebody can shed light upon what they are.
