Notes:   This Lanner had caught something over the school field behind us while a bloom of hatching flying ants was going on. Two Pied Crows who were eating the aleates on the field, followed the Lanner high up to the top of a large gum tree and tried their hardest to get the Lanner to give up whatever he had in his clutches. Going as far as peeling bark of the tree and dropping it onto the Lanner's head! This interaction went on for almost ten minutes.
