Comment:   This is one of the brown green lacewings. It is common and widespread in the drier western regions of South Africa. It is known from the eastern, Norther and Western Cape Provinces of SA, where it is readily attracted to light. The larvae live freely on vegetation where they actively hunt their prey. They do not carry trash.
