Comment:   This could be either Myrmeleon lanceolatus or Creoleon africanus, but cannot be sure as the wing venation is obscured. They look very similar when concealed in this pose, but C. africanus usually has the wings wrapped around the bosy, and sometime also, partly, the stem on which it is perched
