Comment:   This species of ribbon-winged lacewings (family Nemopteridae) is fairly widespread in the northern provinces of SA, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North-West. It also occurs in several other African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania and Kenya. It flies in October, and is readily attracted to light. Nothing is known about its biology.
