Notes:   I have known about this obs for over a year - in an Acacia albida but have not counted the increasingly added nests of this solitary nester before. Ten yesterday of which 8 are showing here - hard to age them but defn some have lived through heavy rains and wind storms immediately & immed on the edge of the ocean & windy point of the coastline here . The length of entrance spout varies. I have seen situations of LW build a new nest directly on top of an old one (think submitted to you) but these nests are all well spaced. A single full coloured little weaver was in the tree and vocal - I did not see a fem yesterday. There are no wasp nests that I can see which is usual nearly de rigueur for LW in The Gambia to nest aside.
