I am slightly confused about E. desjardinsii and it's ssp on the reference list, so I am using Pennington's butterflies as a guide here instead. It lists regularis as a form of E. desjardinsii, as well as marshalli, however there is no mention of the other forms or ssp listed in the reference list. If the reference list species and forms are simply new taxonomy for what is in the book, they can be identified by consulting Pennington's butterflies, as the specimens in the drawer are easily assigned to the forms outlined in this book. |
