Date of record:   2009-07-03
Number of photos:   2
Notes:   These two large buttterflies were spotted apparently sipping sap seemingly flowing from the trunk of an Indigofera Frutescens tree. Didn't spread their wings when perched. Allowed me to touch them both. But flew off very rapidly when disturbed. Weather: fine clear Natal winter's day! My uneducated guess is Charaxes zoolina zoolina - dry form - both female??
