Comment:   The dark sides and grey belly of this specimen indicate that it is not S. bipes, but I am not familiar with S. kasneri and there may be more variation in S. bipes than I know of.

Comment:   I do not think we can judge whether this is Scelotes bipes or S. kasneri from these pictures but if forced to hazard a guess I would say S. bipes.

Comment:   Looks like two digits on the left hindlimb. Slightly out of range for similar S. kasneri; whereas although S. gronovii occurs sympatrically, it has a single digit per hindlimb. Colouration probably variable.
