Comment:   IDed by Ian Engelbrecht: "It is considered medically important as they are one of the button spiders. However the bites are not severe, causing only local discomfort. They are common around houses, and especially like patio furniture! But they are reluctant to bite, and bites are virtually unheard of despite how common they are."
