Record details

   [ Record 6 of 14672 ]
MammalMAP:   347
Province:
Country:   Botswana
Locus:   1922BD
Observer:   Kennedy David
Date of record:   2006-06-06
Number of photos:   1
Notes:   This very poor photo was taken in darkness around 19h00, using only the vehicle\'s lights for illumination. We had come upon an adult leopard with two half-grown youngsters, and we wondered of this was the same family we had met six months previously, as recorded in Records 105-107. The distance between the two sightings was 6.48 km. Information about the likely home range of female leopards would be useful here.
