Number of photos:   3
Notes:   This is the beginning of a series of 29 pictures, 28 of which are of 3 different leopards, and the 29th showing giraffe investigating one of the leopards. On arrival at the site one smaller leopard was up a tree (Leopard A). Below was a large male (leopard B). A female (leopard C) appeared, and proceeded to mate with leopard B. After some time Leopard A descended from the tree, but leopard B chased him up a second tree. Eventually he came down and left the scene, as did the female (leopard C). Leopard B lay down at the base of a tree, where he was approached by a trio of curious giraffes. The large number of pictures have been included for identification purposes. We have tried to distinguish the three protagonists correctly, but it is possible that one or two may be in error. This first group of three pictures shows leopard A up his tree, and two shots of leopard B, the big male.
