Record details

Country:   South Africa
Locus:   3030BB
Observer:   Purves M
Date of record:   2010-08-12
Number of photos:   2
Notes:   This butterfly was in good condition. It chose to sit on a security fence, the spikes of which resembled the shape of its wings. The wings also resembled the spikes on a Num-num shrub behind the fence - on which the butterfly also sat for a time. Also the silver colour of the fence matched quite well the iridescent whitish colour of the butterfly.
