Comment:   This is the larva of a species of Crambomorphus, most likely C. sinuatus - the only species of that genus that occurs in the Cedarberg area. Crambomorphus species are among our largest antlions and the adults have narrow sinuate wings. The adults live freely in sand, and are voracious predators. A really nice record!
