Comment:   This species appears to be largely confined to north western South Africa, with a few records from Botswana and Zimbabwe. It strongly resembles Palpares inclemens - a strictly coastal species, but is smaller. It also flies much earlier in summer than other Palpares species. Larvae are unknown.
