Notes:   A group of about 10 larvae were collected on what looked like Aneilema aequinoctiale on 27 January 2011. It was assumed that this was their foodplant, though some of the same larvae were seen on other plants. At first it was thought these larvae were eating the \'commelina\' in captivity, but a moth larvae was found in the container and seen eating the leaves. The butterfly larvae seemed agitated as if looking for food. River nettles were common around the collection site, some were placed in the container, and the larvae quickly took to eating these. Butterflies hatched out on 17 February 2011. A photo of Dusky Acraea larvae as well as these same larvae on River Nettles was taken on the other side of the N2 a few days earlier - see next record.
