This is not galesa. Reasons:
Only four, not five, postdiscal fore wing hyaline spots;
No fourth spot in fore wing discal series at inner margin;
No conspicuous white anal tuft.
It looks closest to the taxon identified as P.tina in the Field Guide so that is what I have marked it as. I have heard it said that Ivan Bampton thought this was not tina but a possible new species, but not sure what the status is now. Will ask Torben to look into it. |
