Comment:   Good record. An European butterfly that has made its way to Southern Africa probably on imported brassica vegetables infected with larvae. First recorded in Durban in 1983 and then in Cape Town in the early 1990's where it is now common. In Swakopmund it was recorded for the first time in 2006.
