Comment:   Widespread in SA, all provinces except WCape, NCape, Free State. Also known from Swaziland and Zimbabwe. Usually found in grassy areas with shrubs and bushes, and taken at light. Although widespread, i.e. not endangered, it is not frequently encountered, so all records welcome. Nothing is known of its biology or larvae.
