Notes:   Caught and killed by a jumping spider. Despite moderately strong winds buffeting the incapacitated antlion, the spider refused to let go and managed to keep it from blowing away.

Comment:   This species is widespread in South Africa and Namibia, and is fairly common in the drier western parts of the subregion. It is currently the only species in the genus, although another undescribed species is also known. It is characterized by the broad clear wings and long clavate antennae. Nothing is known of its biology.
