Comment:   This is probably Macronemurus striolatus. Widespread in southern and central Africa. Known from DRC, Tanzania and South Africa. In SA, recorded from Limpopo, North West and Northern Cape. It is fairly uncommon, and usually occurs in grassland. Also attracted to light. Nothing currently known of its immature stages. The present generic placement is uncertain.
