Comment:   This is one of South Africa's most attractive antlions. Endemic to the Northern and Western Cape provinces of SA and southern Namibia. Although attracted to light, it is not often encountered. its lanceolate, dark wings render it extremely cryptic when resting on low shrubs during the day. Nothing is known of its larvae. This species has subsequently been transferred to the genus Crambomorphus
