Comment:   a highly cryptic species, usually rests on tree bark where it relies on camouflage for protection from predators. Belongs to the tribe Acanthaclisisini - all cryptic grey antlions. Larvae of this group live freely in sand (do not construct pits) but larvae of this species are unknown
