Comment:   This species usually occurs in high altitude grassland, and is widespread in SA, having been recorded from all provinces. It is fairly common in the Drakensberg grasslands and is a characteristic species of the area. Also known from Lesotho and Swaziland. Nothing is known of its larvae.
