This species is common and widespread in southern Africa. Also Kenya, namibia, Botswana, Tanzania. It is readily attracted to light. Its larvae are elongate with sharply-pointed sickle-shaped jaws that inserted into prey. They are free-living on plants where they prey on aphids and other small soft-bodied prey-species |
