Comment:   This beautiful antlion is a typiocal savanna grassland species. Fairly widespread in the northern parts of SA, including KZN, FS, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North-West provinces.Also known from Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. it is usually found resting in long grass. The larvae olive in soil between grass tussocks.
