Comment:   This is a Banyutus species, probably B. guttifer. This species occurs in west Africa, being known from Burkina Faso, Guinea, Senegal, Cameroon. If it is this species, then it will probably be a new record for Nigeria. Nothing is known of its biology, except that adults are usually found in large aggregations in long grass and shrubs under trees.
