Syrictes syrichthus (Fabricius, 1775)
Note the mandibles protruding out beyond the clypeus, no dung beetles have this. This is a worn specimen, newly emerged specimens have a lovely fringe of russet setae, the remains of which can still be seen, but they have been abraded backwards.
