One of the “brown lacewings” This species is very widespread in southern Africa, but seems to be absent from the drier areas. It also extends far north into Africa, having been recorded from Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya. Its larvae live freely on vegetation and are voracious predators of mainly small Homoptera, including aphids. |
