This species appears to be limited to Vanrhynsdorp area. Sometimes comes to light in large numbers. The adults are obligate pollinators - note the long rostrum for pollen collection. It only flies at a very specific time of the year, so a very nice record. It could be termed the “Vanrhynsdorp arrow-wing” |
