Comment:   This species is known from the Eastern Cape, extending northwards but not frequently encountered. It has been found in urban gardens on several occasions. Although most records are from the ECape and KZN, it is also known from Mpumalanga and Limpopo, but those latter two records require checking. Larva unknown, but expected to be freeliving in soil.
