Comment:   This is one of the brown green lacewings. It is common and widespread in the drier western regions of southern Africa. It is known from the Eastern, Northern and Western Cape Provinces of SA and Namibia. It is readily attracted to light. The larvae live freely on vegetation where they actively hunt their prey. They do not carry trash.
