Comment:   This characteristic brown green-lacewing is only known from South Africa and Lesotho. In SA it occurs in Gauteng, Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga. It is fairly common in gardens in Gauteng. The larvae are free-living on vegetation, and do not carry trash on their backs. A very interrsting record for the Western Cape, but requires further investigation.
