Comment:   This exquisite species is extremely rare, only previously recorded from two localities in Zimbabwe. Like its congeners,it probably frequents forested areas, and is easily confused with the South African Nesochrysa virgata. The genus is characyterized by their very long antennae and predominantly red colour. Nothing is known of the biology of the genus.
