Comment:   This magnificent chrysopid is extremely rare. Apart from the type specimen from Aus in Namibia, only three other specimens are known: one from Wolfdrift in the Cedarberg, so this is a special find! It is now only known from Namibia and the north western Cape. All specimens have been recorded at light. Unfortunately, nothing is known about its biology. Certainly a first for the VM.
