Possibly Borniochrysa squamosa. This species is very widespread in the Afrotropical Region, including the Comores and Mascarene Islands. Even St Helena. Occurs in most provinces of SA, except apparently, the drier western areas. Its larvae feed on small Homoptera, including red scale on citrus, so, like all chrysopid larvae, is a valuable biocontrol agent. |
