Comment:   This species of Proctarrelabis is centered mainly in the Eastern Cape, with only one record from the WCape (Stillbay. The larvae of Proctarrelabis species live freely on twigs and branches and are very well camouflaged. They are typical "sit and wait" ambush predators and rarely move.
