White rump, white windows on the upper-wings and the darker trailing edges on the wings are more typical of Western Banded Snake-Eagle. Sub-adult, showing brown blotches from the underwing "shoulders" to the lower breast. Also compare with juvenile Cassin's Hawk-Eagle (which could be in the area as well). |
