Comment:   Black lower mandible points to Grey-winged Francolin. Comments from Rob Little: "The Grey-winged Francolins in the area are more brownish in color than the Eastern Cape and Western Cape birds. Their throats are not as well marked but rather uniformly pale grey. Their underparts are also more brownish and their belly is not as well marked as the other regions' birds."
